The Death of Rev. Timothy Fauvell
The Rev. Timothy Fauvell died Wednesday night, November 7, at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was Chaplain for Children's Hospital of New York. Tim was enroute from Union Theological Seminary, where he conducted his evening clinical pastoral education program jointly with Joseph Diele, supervisor-in-training. Tim was on his way to visit a patient when he collapsed and died in the automobile, apparently from a heart attack.
Francine Angel, who was very close to Tim, was notified immediately. Tim did his supervisory training with Raymond Lawrence, who said he was one of the most promising trainees he has ever worked with. Tim was certified Diplomate earlier this year. A very gifted man has been lost to the CPSP community.
As it becomes available, the PR will provide information about funeral arrangements.
