2007 CPSP Plenary and Downloadable Brochure

The CPSP Plenary will be held in Raleigh, NC with John Edgerton of WakeMed serving as the coordinator and host for the event. Wednesday, March 28 is dedicated to Workshops from 3:00 PM-5:00 PM. The Opening Session of the Plenary begins 9:00 AM Thursday morning the 29th with the Plenary ending Saturday, March 31 at 1:00 PM. Presenters for the 2007 Plenary:
DR. JOHN W. KINNEY, Dean of the School of Theology at Virginia Union, is developing works on Theological Methodology in the Black Church and Spirituality and Justice.
DR. ESTEBAN MONTILLA, Director of Clinical Pastoral Education at Driscoll Children’s Hospital, Corpus Christi, Texas will present Counseling and Supervising Latinos.
DR. CAROL SCHWEITZER, professor of Pastoral Care and Counseling at Union Theological Seminary, VA, will address Pastoral Wisdom: Understanding the Relationship Between Loss and Personal Vulnerability in Conflict Situations.
As always, a CPSP Plenary is dedicated to small group participation. All persons attending the Plenary are expected to engage within a small group in order to form a community within the greater gathered community of the Plenary. Please come prepared to share something from your life and work within a dynamic group process.
