Councils Ratification Review Committee by William Carr
To all CPSP Chapter Conveners,
As the fall season begins it is again time to prepare for our CPSP certification/ratification reviews.
The CRRC (Councils Ratification Review Committee) is now ready to receive ratification requests from Chapter Conveners in preparation for the December 2, 2005 Council meeting.
As you know, the process of gaining a formal CPSP clinical credential in each of the five certification categories is a four-step process. First is the training and mentoring of the candidate within the CPSP Chapter; second is the thorough certification review and granting of certification, also within the Chapter; third is the review of the Chapters certification by the CRRC; and fourth is the Councils act of ratification.
Please review and kindly follow the directions in the Ratification Procedures, which can be found on the CPSP website
Then please fill out the appropriate face sheet for your candidates and send them as soon as possible.
The Ratification Face Sheets for the various certification categories are also to be found on the CPSP website.
The Deadline is October 17, 2005.
The CRRC will be unable to review requests that arrive later than this date.
