« Liew Elected ICPCC Treasurer | Main | Foy Richey Succumbs to Cancer »
Some of you are aware that shortly after Foy Richey returned from the CPSP Plenary in VA Beach this past spring, he was diagnosed with cancer of the pancreas. Those persons close to him have been aware of his struggle for survival.
About two weeks ago, Foy, and his family determined that quality of life with limited longevity was more desirable than longevity with no quality. Consequently, Foy and his family chose to cease chemotherapy. Foy has now entered a hospice center where Lorrie, his wife, says he is very comfortable in a beautiful setting and is surrounded by his family.
His nuclear family wanted this update provided to Foy's CPSP family. They recognize many would like to call or email but he is not able to receive such messages. The best way to be in communication with Foy and his family is through CareBridge.
