Dear Editor,
Thank you for honoring Dr. King and for reminding us of his contributions to peace in our world. He was unmistakably a modern day "Christ Figure." May his dream live on in all of us, and may we have the compassion to see, may we have the wisdom to discern,
and may we have the courage to act." Ah Ho
May the Great Spirit bless you this day,
Mac Wallace

Today the nation and the world celebrates the life and work of Martin Luther King. Before his tragic assassination, we were coming to know that one man with a vision and with remarkable courage might change the world. His life, even celebrated in death, did just that. As troubled as the world is to day, it is better off because Martin Luther King dared to have a dream.
In today's world of violence, war, racial strife and nation against nation, we yearn again for his voice, wisdom and leadership. His spirit, however, continues to live within us. It guides us, it calls for us to dream our dream and it supports our taking on the courage to stand for justice and peace.
No doubt today you will see and hear excerpts from his "I Have a Dream" speech delivered on August 28, 1963 during the March on Washington, speech. If you want to view the whole speech, go to Google Video.
