A Letter to the CPSP Community From Myron Madden

<img

This is a word to my beloved sisters and brothers of CPSP. That word is to express my regrets of having to miss the annual meeting of CPSP.

A couple of weeks ago I crossed over the double eight marker. Age has done what age does to people of my years; it has left me feeble of life and limb. Fortunately its work has been wrought upon the physical and not so much the mental. As a result I am left longing to be at the meetings with you without the ability to circulate among you as in times past.

I have to accept what has been given, or rather what has been taken away.

I have struggled to make my ministry one of bringing blessing into the lives of others. But you can never be sure if you have succeeded unless it comes back in the form of some real human affirmation from others. You as a group in CPSP have so affirmed me that I can go in the strength of that gift even as the body stretches toward sundown.

Have a great meeting, and I will celebrate down here in the ravages left by Katrina.
