To all CPSP Chapter Conveners,
It is again time to prepare for our Spring CPSP certification/ratification reviews.
The CRRC (Council’s Ratification Review Committee) is now ready to receive ratification requests from Chapter Conveners in preparation for the March 29, 2006 Council meeting, which will occur in conjunction with the CPSP 2006 Plenary Meeting.
As you know, the process of gaining a formal CPSP clinical credential in each of our five certification categories is a four-step process. First is the training and mentoring of the candidate within the CPSP Chapter; second is the thorough certification review and granting of certification, also within the Chapter; third is the review of the Chapter’s certification by the CRRC; and fourth is the Council’s act of ratification.
The CRRC is interested in making the review process as simple and straightforward as possible. With your cooperation in following these three steps, we should get the job done relatively painlessly.
Step 1 - Please review and kindly follow the directions in the Ratification Procedures, which may be downloaded from the CPSP web site (CPSP.ORG).Step 2 - Then please fill out and sign the appropriate face sheet for your candidates.
Please note that the Face Sheet forms have been revised, so please be sure to use the new forms. The revised forms may be downloaded from the CPSP Website.
Step 3 – Mail the completed face sheet to the following address:

The CRRC will be unable to review requests that arrive later than this date, and the Council endorsed the CRRC policy that incomplete face sheets will be returned to the Chapters. Please be sure to provide all the information as requested!
