Myron Madden Safe

Barbara McGuire, CPSP Registrar, did extensive work to obtain news about the well being of Myron and Ann Madden who lives on the Gulf Cost. This AM Barbara received the following message:

Dear Barbara,
We are fine. Our house is fine. Our workshop is not so fine - a large pine tree is resting on top of it. The yard is filled with horizonal trees - some are not ours! We have so much to be grateful for - All of our family is safe.

We grieve as so many do for those who lost loved ones, homes, businesses, and hope. (Two of Myron's children had extensive damage to their homes. One in New Orleans. The other in Mandeville across the lake from N.O.)

We continue to be deeply touched by the outpouring of love and concern by so many. As I viewed the destruction and the brokenness of multitudes on tv, I found it hard to believe. I got just a taste of it as I drove into Slidell today from Gonzales (near Baton Rouge) where Myron and I rode out the storm with my parents at my brother's.)

Barbara, thank you for your prayerful concern. I am so thankful for your friendship.

Ann
