Effective May 3, 2004, William Carr will step down as Treasure of CPSP, a position he has held since May of 1991. He will give his last report as Treasurer at the spring meeting of the Governing Council.
Bill speaks very positively about his decision to resign:
I believe it is now time to pass on this office and its responsibility to someone else. I have other professional and personal obligations to meet and interests that I wish to pursue. I plan to continue to be active in the Chapel Hill Chapter, on the Council, and as the Chairman of the Certification Committee. You have my whole-hearted support as we go forward.
Many thanks to Bill for his years of service and leadership. We here at the PR wish him well in his new ventures.
