CPSP Plenary Continuing Education Certificate

Roger Mase, Convenor of the Stoney Mountian/Asheville Chapter, has investigated and evaluated how the CPSP and its Chapters can provide Continuing Education Units for persons who participate in its various educational offerings. He has been successful in his efforts.

As most of us know, documentation of our continuing education is essential for continued membership in our denominations and professional organizations.

You will want to read the excerpts from his recent communication with the PR.

Roger writes:

Please find attached the approved CPSP Plenary Continuing Education Certificate that you and/or your Convener can download and copy before our Plenary session next week at Virginia Beach. You may bring them to the Plenary for signatures by the Chapter Convener and Raymond Lawrence, our General Secretary. I would encourage you to copy the certificate on good paper for your members. ... The first certificate pertains only to the Plenary. The second certificate is a sample for use by those Chapters that wish to do a CE event. It can be modified easily to put in your information. In our Stoney Mountain/Asheville, we have selected a CE Certifier who prints the certificates for our Chapter. You will notice that the Plenary is not taking the responsibility in providing the certificates as this is a Chapter function. According to our Covenant, the Chapter is responsible for training, which includes Continuing Education. Spread the word as best you can to all those who may plan to come to the Plenary that their certificate will be available to them via the web site.

We here at the PR take our hats of to Roger for his good work. -Perry Miller, Editor
